Peace needs resources. Our team works on a volunteer basis, but peace education, events and humanitarian actions cost money: materials, venues, printing and transport.

Tax deductibility
HWPL Austria is currently not listed among the beneficiary institutions under §4a of the Austrian Income Tax Act (EStG). Your donation is therefore not tax-deductible. We are actively working on this registration and aim to complete it by the end of the year.
Frequently asked questions about donating
- Where does my donation go?
- HWPL Austria is an independent Austrian association (ZVR 1992886022). Donations are used for the association's peace work and the campaign indicated in each case.
- Can I donate for a specific purpose?
- Yes. Simply state the intended purpose in your bank transfer, for example the name of a running campaign.
- Is my donation tax-deductible?
- No. HWPL Austria is currently not listed as a beneficiary organisation under §4a of the Austrian Income Tax Act (EStG), so your donation is not tax-deductible.
- How do I learn what happens with the donations?
- We report regularly on campaigns and their results via our website, newsletter and social media channels.
